Kitchen Display System (KDS) is a digital system that replaces traditional paper tickets in a restaurant's kitchen.
The system we provide can Support 1 or more Prep KDS with at most 1 Expo KDS.
Normally the Prep KDS is linked with a non-touch screen for showing all food items from one order in one cell.
If the KDS is without touch screen, it will be equipped with a bump bar to bump out the order cooked.
For a KDS with touch screen, the food item cooked can be bumped out by simply pressing that item on the screen.
The KDS can show the history of food items recently bumped out.
The KDS can show the outstanding (not yet bumped out) food items from all orders in the summary mode.
Each cell shows the order number, the time elapsed, the food item name, the quantity, the order type (eat-in or take-away), the ticket number or the table number.
If the food is shown in the Prep and the Expo KDS, after the food is bumped from the Prep KDS, the color of the food shown in the Expo KDS will be changed (so that the chef will know the food is bumped/finished from the Prep KDS).
